COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a wanted suspect was arrested, and several guns were recovered in Colorado Springs.

CSPD said an officer located a Ram 1500 pick-up connected to a wanted suspect, 35-year-old Anthony Kent, in unincorporated El Paso County.

The officer reportedly requested assistance from the Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force to assist in conducting surveillance on the vehicle. Police said the vehicle travelled through several Colorado Springs locations before parking in an alley near Security Boulevard.

With assistance from an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office drone, the CSPD tactical team and a CSPD K9, a plan for apprehending Kent was put into place.
