PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Pueblo School District 60 is figuring out how they can best serve their students, while not wasting resources.

This comes as District 60 continues facing a declining enrollment and is working to efficiently address this issue.

Recently, D60 released the results of its first community survey showing how parents, D60 staff and community members think the district should use its resources.

It’s important to note, a final decision has not been made and this survey is just one of the factors they’ll consider as part of their decision.

For this survey, there were six different scenarios of how D60 could best serve students.

The scenarios included, 1. merging Columbian Elementary and Bessemer Academy, 2. taking no action to Heaton Middle School, Belmont Elementary Scho
