Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced to four years in federal prison today after being convicted of transporting women for the purpose of prostitution. A New York judge also imposed five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine, the maximum allowed under law. Combs, who has already served 12 months, pleaded for mercy and apologized, while his children asked the judge for leniency. Prosecutors argued he minimized his violence against women, including ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The judge said Combs has not fully taken responsibility.
