MADISON (WKOW) -- Voters will see a long list of names on the ballot next August for the Democratic gubernatorial primary. For the first time since 2010, Wisconsin has a wide-open race for governor in both parties. The race to replace Gov. Tony Evers as the standard bearer for the Wisconsin Democratic party has drawn interest from members of his administration, as well as current and former state lawmakers.
One of the candidates is former state representative Brett Hulsey.
27 News anchor Caroline Dade sat down with Husley to ask about why he wants to be governor, what issues are central to his campaign and how he would work with Republicans if voters elect him.
