Explore the possibilities of a career in aviation, and interact with dynamic speakers from different sectors of the aviation sector at a new event.

The Canadian Museum of Flight will be hosting a Women in Aviation event on Saturday, Oct. 18, to showcase the diverse world of a career in flight. The museum wants to highlight female expertise in aviation and provide educational outreach for those interested in a similar career.

It is important to give back to the community, while showcasing the museum’s collections, said Sheila French, a member of the event organizing committee.

“All of our volunteers share a passion for various aspects of aviation (and) have enjoyed rewarding aviation-related careers,” she said.
