TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Two people are injured after a “targeted shooting” near the off-ramp to Thomasville Road on Interstate 10, according to a Leon County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.
The incident unfolded Friday at about 5:45 p.m. in Tallahassee.
The victims, a man and a woman, were in separate cars at the time of the shooting, the sheriff’s office confirmed.
The male victim is in serious condition and was life-flighted to UF Health Shands Hospital, according to LCSO. The female victim was also taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The sheriff’s office confirmed three vehicles were hit by gunfire during the incident.
The suspect fled the scene in their car and remains at large, per LCSO. Law enforcement was unable to provide the make or model of the car or how many
