TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Preparations are well underway right now to welcome tens of thousands of people for the University of Alabama/Vanderbilt game Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The staff at Baumhower’s near campus took a few minutes before the doors opened to gear up for what promises to be a busy weekend.

Restaurant leaders said the game crowd started showing up Thursday and they expect by the time Sunday rolls around, they will have served around 4,000 customers.

“I’ve been doing this for 15 years so it’s kind of second nature for me, so I actually look forward to it because I like the busy part of the season because it gets the shift going pretty fast and it’s fun and energized,” said assistant manager LaToya Banks.
