Dame Noeline Taurua won’t coach the Silver Ferns for the upcoming Constellation Cup against Australia, it’s finally been confirmed.

And it’s almost inevitable she won’t coach the Silver Ferns again in 2025.

Only days after marathon mediation meetings were held between the stood down Taurua and Netball New Zealand, it’s been confirmed the mastercoach will remain stripped of her role – at least until the end of November when the Ferns international season ends.

NNZ said they were unable to reach a resolution over claims of a “psychologically unsafe” training environment within the Silver Ferns, despite mediation where the opening day’s session reportedly hit the 10-hour mark.
