A 14-year-old boy in Lancaster County was charged this week after police said he threatened a school shooting on social media.

On Thursday, Mount Joy Police charged the boy with terroristic threats after receiving reports he said he would shoot a local school.

While police investigated a separate threat involving the boy, a witness told officers the 14-year-old threatened a school shooting during a Snapchat call.
