CLEAR FORK, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Class AA Liberty Raiders pulled off a big road win Friday night, edging the No. 11 Westside Renegades in an overtime battle, 30-22.
The matchup was tight from start to finish, with both teams trading scores and momentum throughout regulation. Tied at the end of four quarters, Liberty struck in overtime and sealed the victory with a strong defensive stand to keep the Renegades out of the end zone.
With the win, Liberty improves to 2-4 on the season and will return home to host the Shady Spring Tigers in their next matchup. Westside falls to 3-3 and will face a tough test on the road against the Independence Patriots.
