(NewsNation) — Criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos believe Sean "Diddy" Combs' four-year prison sentence was harsh.
Geragos, whose daughter Teny Geragos was part of the defense, joined "CUOMO" to discuss the sentence handed down by a federal judge to the fallen rap mogul on Friday.
Combs was sentenced to 50 months after being convicted on a pair of prostitution-related charges three months ago. His attorneys have said they will appeal.
"I thought 50 months, frankly, was way more than he should have gotten. I do not think this is one of the better days for the defense, both in the performance and and what was presented. I just I have a lot of issues with the whole thing," Geragos told NewsNation.
