DULUTH — No. 15 Minnesota Duluth’s offense recorded more than twice the kills of opposing Mary on Friday as the Bulldogs cruised to a 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-21) Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference volleyball sweep on Friday at Romano Gym.
The Bulldogs had 51 kills and a .311 hitting percentage, while holding the Marauders to just 23 kills for the match.
Kylie Broten led UMD’s attack by posting 16 kills on a .520 hitting percentage, while Xada Johnson added 10. Ava Jones dished out 42 assists.
On the defensive side, Madison Reed absorbed what little attack the Marauders could muster, finishing with 19 digs.
