HONOLULU (Island News) -- Honolulu police shut down an illegal game room in Chinatown and McCully this week.
The Honolulu Police Department’s (HPD) Narcotics/Vice Division executed a search warrant at a game room located on N King Street in Chinatown on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 30. Following their search, 16 gambling machines and more than $3,000 in cash were seized.
The following evening on Wednesday, Oct. 1, HPD officers responded to a game room located on Algaroba Street in McCully. After executing a search warrant, 24 gambling machines and over $4,000 in cash were found.
