WAIANAE, Hawaii (Island News) -- Honolulu police opened an arson investigation after a truck caught on fire in Waianae on Friday night.
The Honolulu Police Department and Honolulu Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire at a property along Hakimo Road just before 10 p.m. on Oct. 3.
A 24-year-old woman told police she saw an unknown individual on her property through her home surveillance system. The suspect was seen on camera before her 2017 white Dodge flatbed truck was on fire.
No injuries were reported from the scene.
This arson investigation remains ongoing and no arrests have been made.
