UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WOWT) - Nebraska volleyball delivered one of its most commanding performances of the season Friday night, sweeping No. 16 Penn State 25-6, 25-15, 25-13 at Rec Hall.

The Huskers (13-0, 3-0 Big Ten) hit a season-best .437 and held the Nittany Lions (7-6, 1-2) to -.114, marking their second-best defensive effort in the rally-scoring era (since 2001).

Penn State’s 34 points were its fewest in a match since 2001, and its six points in the opening set were also the fewest in a non-fifth set in that span.

It was Nebraska’s first sweep at Rec Hall since 2017, and Penn State’s first home sweep loss since 2022.
