HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Lauren Graham, best known for playing the fast-talking single mother Lorelai Gilmore in "Gilmore Girls," just got some permanent real estate on Hollywood Boulevard.
Twenty-five years after the hit show debuted to TV audiences, Graham became the latest to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, was a guest speaker at Friday's ceremony.
The actress, producer and New York Times best-selling author was surrounded by a joyful crowd ahead of the unveiling of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Fans in the crowd sported "Gilmore Girls" memorabilia and held books authored by Graham.
While her debut role was on the show "Loving" in 1993, it was her role as the witty, fun and dedicated single mother to Rory Gi
