PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A 47-year-old woman pleaded guilty in federal court after prosecutors say she swung a large knife at federal officers outside the Portland ICE facility in June.
Prosecutors say Julie Winters pleaded guilty to charges of felony intimidation of a federal officer and resisting arrest on Thursday.
Winters was arrested after reportedly pulling out a large knife and swinging it at officers outside of the ICE facility in South Portland to intimidate them on June 24.
Prosecutors say Winters reported to the Pretrial Services Office on August 20 after violating the conditions of her pretrial release.
When federal officers tried to arrest Winters on a federal warrant, prosecutors say she resisted arrest by “causing forcible contact” with U.S. Deputy Marshals.
