The theme in Week 6 of the Alabama high school football season in the Montgomery area was dominance. Several teams from the Montgomery area flat out dominated its regional opponents, either taking control of the region, or setting the stage for big matchups in Week 7.

Montgomery Catholic is finding its identity behind the efficiency of quarterback CJ Sankey, winning consecutive games and throwing its name back into the regional mix. Prattville fell on its face again in Week 6 after dropping a Week 5 game that had mixed results. Stanhope Elmore made things interesting against undefeated Russell County, but unfortunately didn't have enough playmakers to secure the win.
