QUEENSBURY, NY (NEWS10) -- The Queensbury football team improved to 2-0 in Grasso division play with a 20-9 win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake.
Queensbury got the scoring started in the first quarter when Junior Quarterback, Hudson Montgomery, called his own number for a 3-yard touchdown run to take a 7-0 lead the home side would carry into the second quarter.
That lead would be extended before the break when Tyler Dorvee punched it in from 1-yard out to push the advantage to 14-0, allowing Queensbury to head to the locker room with a 2-score lead.
Out of the half, Queensbury remained on the attack, but this time turned to the air. Montgomery would drop one in for Thomas Collins who was able to keep his feet in bounds to secure the 26-yard touchdown.
Trailing by 3 score, Burnt Hills ne
