Three women were killed, and a man was seriously injured after a speeding car hit them during their morning walk in Ghaziabad today.

According to police, the incident took place around 6 am near the Rakesh Marg cut on GT Road, where an over-speeding car rammed into four morning walkers.

The victims have been identified as Vipin Sharma (47), a resident of Shtam Vihar Colony, and Meenu Prajapati (56), Kamlesh (55), and Savitri Devi (60), all residents of New Kotgaon in the Kotwali area.

All four victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared Meenu and Savitri brought dead. Kamlesh succumbed to her injuries during treatment, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (City) Dhawal Jaiswal. Vipin Sharma remains under medical care with serious injuries.
