Kingsford fell behind early but quickly recovered to post a 5-2 win over Three Lakes, Wis., in boys soccer action Thursday at Flivver Field.
KHS finished its regular season with a 12-5-1 record. The Flivvers will enter the MHSAA District 33 playoffs in Division 3 on Wednesday, hosting Kalkaska.
Three Lakes scored three minutes into Thursday’s game on a penalty kick. Kingsford soon evened the score when Gavin Kinsella’s cross found Jett Buckley, who placed it in the net.
