Three women were killed while a man was critically injured after they were hit by a car in Ghaziabad on Saturday morning, police said.
The incident took place around 5.45 am on Rakesh Marg, GT Road, under the Sihani Gate police station limits.
According to police, the four-wheeler, allegedly driven recklessly, rammed into four pedestrians out for a morning walk.
Station House Officer, Sihani Gate, Sachin Kumar told The Indian Express that all of them were out for a walk. “At a T-point on the road, the vehicle, which was coming from the other side, hit them. Three women died,” the SHO said.
Kumar said that the deceased have been identified as Kamlesh, 55; Meenu Prajapati, 56; and Savitri Devi, 60 — all residents of New Kotagaon. The injured man, Vipin Sharma, 48, is a resident of Sh
