LIVE: Emergency services respond to 'ongoing incident' at River Tees as public urged to avoid area

Emergency services are currently dealing with an ‘ongoing incident’ in Stockton.

Cleveland Police, Cleveland Fire Brigade and the Tees River Rescue are at the River Tees in Yarm. Police officers are currently on the scene with a large presence at Preston Park.

“The public is advised to avoid areas around the river wherever possible,” a Cleveland Police spokesperson said.
