As Storm Amy sweeps across Cambridgeshire , some visitor attractions are closed for the day. The storm brings high winds to the whole county on Saturday (October 4).

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning on Friday (October 3), with a “period of strong and gusty winds” forecast until 7pm on Saturday. As a result of the storm, some National Trust attractions across Cambridgeshire have closed.

The attractions closed today are:

Wimpole Estate in Royston;

Wicken Fen in Wicken, Ely;

Houghton Mill and Waterclose Meadows in Huntingdon;

Peckover House in Wisbech.
