Former Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh and three other BJP MLAs have left for Delhi today.
The purpose of the visit is to meet central leadership to push for a popular government in Manipur that has been under President’s Rule since February this year. President’s Rule in the state has been extended till February 13, 2026.
Biren Singh and the other MLAs would first meet BJP Northeast Co-ordinator Sambit Patra and then they will seek an appointment with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The MLAs who have left for Delhi with Biren Singh today are T. Robindro, Dr. Sapam Ranjan and H. Dingo. The other BJP MLAs will leave tomorrow.
