A warm and dry stretch of weather takes hold this weekend, bringing a taste of summer back to southern New England.

Sunday follows suit with another sunny and warm day, with highs again in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

A light sea breeze may keep the coastline a bit cooler, but overall it will feel unseasonably warm for the start of October. Nights will be mild, mainly in the 50s, with a few upper 40s in the cooler inland valleys.
