Hamilton Accies have reported an operating loss of £1.8m in their accounts over 2023/24 - amid owner Seref Zengin resigning from the board. ‌

Lanarkshire Live Sport can reveal Zengin quit the club last week, although Companies House records remain unchanged at this stage. ‌

Unaudited accounts for the year ending June 2024, naming Gerry Strain and Seref Zengin as sole directors were approved by Mr Zengin on September 30, 2025, and published by Companies House on Friday. ‌

At a time when the club were promoted to the Championship via a play-off win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Hamilton Accies made a total loss of £1,850,542 in 2024, a drop of £1,119.067 from the previous year’s figure of £731,475.
