A fallen tree is currently blocking a busy A-road in Devon this afternoon (Saturday, October 4).

The A380 is partially blocked southbound near the Haldon Grill after a tree fell.

Roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, reported the fallen tree at 12.43pm.

It said: "A380 Southbound partially blocked, slow traffic due to fallen tree near Great Haldon."

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning across the region for today.

A number of fallen trees, power cuts and a flood alert are in place in the South West as Storm Amy batters the country.
