A second man has been charged with conspiracy to murder following a city centre shooting in Coventry .

The shooting took place in a car park in Far Gosford Street in the early hours of Saturday, September 13.

The victim suffered serious injuries from a gunshot wound and was taken to hospital.

Now Nicholas Buckley, aged 35, of Broomfield Place in Spon End, Coventry, has been charged with conspiracy to murder.

He was remanded in custody and is set to appear before Birmingham magistrates on Saturday (October 4).

A 35-year-old man was also arrested by North Wales Police on suspicion of attempted murder on Friday (October 3) and has been returned to West Midlands Police for questioning.
