Bengaluru: The Garden City’s Namma Metro was hit by a sudden disruption on Saturday afternoon after a man jumped onto the tracks at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (Majestic) station, the busiest interchange point on the city’s metro network. The incident occurred around 3.17 PM, forcing trains on the Green Line to halt for close to half an hour.

Officials confirmed that the man leapt in front of a train bound for Madhavara, prompting an emergency response from metro staff and security personnel. He was rescued alive and rushed to hospital for treatment. His identity and medical condition have not yet been disclosed by the authorities.
