Hyderabad: Starting October 6 (Monday), passengers travelling in Hyderabad and Secunderabad city bus services will have to pay Rs 5 to 10 more per trip, with the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) announcing a nominal fare hike effective.

The additional charge, cleared by the state government on September 23, will help fund the corporation’s ambitious plan to replace diesel buses with 2,800 electric buses by 2027.
