SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - Two people have been arrested in connection to A shooting which killed one person in Spartanburg County.

According to Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to a reported shooting at a home on Blue Gill Way in Woodruff just before midnight Friday.

At the scene, deputies located 21-year-old Aaliyah Simmons, who had reportedly been shot in the chest. Despite life-saving efforts, Simmons died from her injuries at the scene.

Deputies have arrested 19-year-old Angel Marie Willis on one count of murder, and 24-year-old Jorge Armando Cano Jr. has been charged with accessory after the fact.
