Framingham police have arrested a 42-year-old city resident accused of holding a store clerk at knifepoint.
The man, who was not named in a statement from the department, has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, attempt to commit a crime and assault and battery. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Framingham District Court on Monday, Oct. 6.
The armed robbery occurred in the Dubom Supermarket at 855 Worcester Rd., on Oct. 1 at around 8:45 a.m.
The man is accused of using a “large kitchen knife” during the robbery, which was held inside a Burlington Coat Factory bag, the department wrote in a statement posted to Facebook .
