SAN AUGUSTINE, Texas (KTRE) - The City of San Augustine issued a boil water notice Saturday after a water tower malfunction caused a loss of pressure.
The city said the earliest the boil notice could be lifted is mid-day Tuesday, Oct. 7 if all test samples come back good.
All customers are asked to boil water before consumption: Bring water to a rigorous boil, boil it for two minutes and let the water cool.
The city will issue a notice when the boil water notice is no longer in effect.
