Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau are expected to be active for the New Orleans Saints’ game against the New York Giants on Sunday, according to multiple sources.

Hill is expected to serve as the team’s backup quarterback behind Spencer Rattler. Rookie Tyler Shough has served as the backup in the Saints' first four games.

The veteran tight ends have not played this season after starting the year on the Physically Unable to Perform list. They returned to practice on a limited basis this week for the first time since undergoing offseason knee surgeries. Each was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report on Friday.

The Saints will have to make two transactions to clear room for Hill and Moreau on the 53-man active roster.
