OAK GROVE, Ky. (WSMV) - A woman suffered several severe injuries, including a collapsed lung and broken ribs, after she was reportedly attacked by a man in Kentucky on Friday morning, according to WKDZ Radio.

WKDZ reports that officers with the Oak Grove Police Department responded to a home on Van Buren Avenue for reports of a disturbance with a woman screaming.

When officers arrived at the home, they knocked on the door and were met by 35-year-old Hasaan Slaughter.

WKDZ reports Slaughter would not open the door for the officers and became argumentative. Law enforcement later kicked in the door.
