TRAVERSE CITY— The Salvation Army Traverse City Corps is putting a football twist on fundraising this fall.
On Saturday, October 25th, fans of Michigan and Michigan State will face off in a “Teen Angel Kettle Kickoff” outside The Pub restaurant and bar downtown in Traverse City.
Two kettles will be set up—one for each team.
The goal is to rais more than a thousand dollars per side to support the Teen Angel program, which provides Christmas gifts for local teens in need.
Sponsors will match gifts up to $1,500.
The winning team and “Golden Kettle” will be announced live on Rock 105 & 95.5 the following Monday.
