A 3 and 4-year-old child were injured in a crash on Walnut Road in late August, and now the driver is facing charges.

Around 2:00pm on August 21, deputies and traffic investigators responded to the 8700 block of Walnut Road after a single-vehicle crash, according to an affidavit obtained by Local 3 News.

First responders found a 3-year-old with a possible broken neck and internal abdominal bleeding and a 4-year-old with an open leg fracture and a laceration to her right eye.
