(KBTX) - Lexington Running Back Jurian Moore is “doing better” according to head football coach Kirk Muhl after suffering an injury in Friday night’s football game between Caldwell and Lexington.

Muhl confirmed with KBTX that Moore is “moving all his extremities.” Moore will undergo more tests on his neck and back, because he is still in pain, but everything to far has come back good, Muhl said.

According to witnesses at the game, Moore took a knee to the back of his head while he was tackled. Moore was treated on the ground with little movement for approximately 10 minutes before he was removed from the field on a stretcher.

Moore was transported via air ambulance to Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin.
