CHAPEL HILL, NC — Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney is relieved the Tigers avoided their third straight loss for the first time since 2010.
"I never thought I'd be happy to leave anywhere 2-3, but I'm happy today," Swinney said Oct. 4.
Clemson routed UNC on the road, winning 38-10 at Kenan Memorial Stadium. The win prevented the Tigers (2-3, 1-2 ACC) from starting 0-3 in conference play for the first time since 1998 and kept their chances alive to make the ACC championship.
