It's day three of the 2025 Koori Knockout in Tamworth - and the best is yet to come.
That's saying something, because it's been an event that has shimmered with special meaning, luring huge crowds to the superbly turned out Plain Street Sporting Fields.
Take a bow, the Walgett Aboriginal Connection (WAC) - who, as the defending men's championships, have done a wonderful job organising the event.
The WAC men will be one of the marquee games today; their 42-4 win over Champbelltown Ghosts has set them up for a showdown against Sydney All Blacks at Field 1 (10.50am kick-off).
Elsewhere, Boomerang Sports Club and Newcastle Yowies will clash at Field 1 (9.10am kick-off), while Blacktown Red Belly Warriors and Nanima Common Connection will collide at Field 2 (10.50am).
