A 23-year-old Chisholm man will face court on Monday, October 6, after he was charged with allegedly threatening to kill a mother and a son during an aggravated burglary on Saturday afternoon.

ACT police allege the man broke into a Duffy home shortly before 1pm, demanding cash and prescription drugs.

It is alleged he threatened the two occupants with a Taser and forcibly confined them to a bedroom. The man fled the scene after the victims attempted to locate prescription drugs for him.

Polic arrived at the scene soon after and, after interviews with the alleged victims and a witness, located a getaway vehicle at a different Duffy residence, where the 23-year-old was arrested.
