Alabama football was nowhere near perfect against Vanderbilt, and the Crimson Tide didn’t need to be.

In a game where revenge was at the center of Alabama ’s goals and aspirations, the Crimson Tide prevailed, beating the Commodores 30-14 at Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday, Oct. 4, responding to the first of three SEC road losses Alabama suffered in 2024.

This was not any normal Alabama-Vanderbilt game. This top-25 SEC game was a grudge match, one that gave the Crimson Tide its second conference win of 2025, with all eyes on Missouri in Week 7.
