For the second week in a row, Alabama football got massive offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor involved in the offense as more than just a blocker.
And the big man delivered again.
In the Crimson Tide's 30-14 home win over Vanderbilt, Proctor lined up in the backfield on a fourth-quarter play with the Crimson Tide facing a third-and-1 from the Vanderbilt 20-yard line. Offset to the left side, Proctor took a handoff from quarterback Ty Simpson and slid off the left side of the line for a 2-yard gain and a key first down. That led to a Conor Talty field goal that extended the Crimson Tide's lead to 23-14 and all but put the game out of reach with 4:10 remaining.
