A man is facing charges after law enforcement and hazmat technicians responded to an explosion at a home in Wareham, Massachusetts, on Friday.
The Massachusetts Department of Fire Services says 50-year-old Mark W. Halpin was taken into custody Friday night on charges of possessing explosive devices and the materials used to create them.

Police, Fire and EMS from Wareham, along with the state fire marshal's office, Massachusetts State Police, and fire services technicians were among those who responded to Aunt Maryville Lane early Friday afternoon for a report of an explosion in a dwelling, and arrived to find Halpin on scene with injuries.
