There’s no telling just how good Union Catholic girls cross-country will be come November & December.

And that’s because even when they aren’t at full strength, statistically speaking, they are still one of the greatest girls’ cross-country teams in state history.

The 2025 Shore Coaches Invitational proved this beyond any doubt.

Union Catholic outlasted nationally-ranked Shenendehowa (No. 8) in the Girls Varsity E race, winning the team title with a score of 30. Shenendehowa (NY) took second overall with a score of 42.

Come November, if Union Catholic has all of its top guns or can even progress with the current lineup they have now, they’ll make a strong case for being the greatest girls cross-country to ever represent the Garden State.
