WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) -- Serious injuries have been reported after a person was hit by a car on I-91 in Windsor Saturday night, according to state police.

Troop H. personnel responded to the scene near exit 40 and CARS is assisting with the investigation.

The highway is currently shut down and anyone traveling in the area is asked to seek other routes.
