People got a chance to dress up like Gritty and get a workout in. Runners took part in the Gritty 5K around the Xfinity Mobile Arena and through FDR Park. The money raised goes to Flyers charities. The Flyers also played their preseason finale. They beat the Devils 4-3 in a shootout. The season opener is Thursday in Florida against the Panthers.
