The Life of a Showgirl is breaking more records.

Taylor Swift ‘s latest album sold 2.7 million copies during its release day on Friday, making it her largest week yet, according to data from Luminate sourced by Billboard .

While the record has been out for much less than seven days, Showgirl ‘s first-day sales also place it as the second-largest sales week for any album — trailing only behind Adele’s 25 , which sold 3.8 million copies in its debut week in 2015. Luminate’s data, too, notably only includes U.S. sales.
