MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A motorcyclist is fighting for their life after being involved in a crash Saturday night.

At around 7:30 p.m., Mesa police officers responded to a crash near Val Vista Drive and Southern Avenue .

Police say that the crash involved the motorcycle and another car. The motorcycle rider was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers are still on the scene as the investigation continues.
